Learn how to delete obsolete automations to stay within your plan's active trigger limits.

How to Delete an Automation

Deleting an automation permanently removes its configuration and stops it from triggering. (Note: The historical analytics data associated with it will still be preserved in your overall dashboard).

  1. Navigate to the Automations tab.
  2. Find the automation in your list.
  3. Click the Delete (Trash Can icon) button next to the edit button.
  4. A confirmation modal will appear. Type "DELETE" to confirm the action.

Important: Deleting vs Pausing

Before you delete an automation, consider whether you might need it again in the future. If it's a seasonal campaign (like "Black Friday Promo"), it is better to just Pause the automation.

However, Free plans have a strict limit on the number of automations you can create (active or paused). If you hit your limit, you must delete an old automation before creating a new one, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited automations.
