Getting Started with LinkInfuse

Welcome aboard! Let's walk through the essential steps to connect your Instagram account and launch your first automated DM flow in minutes.

Connect Your Instagram Account

Before you can automate replies, LinkInfuse needs permission to read comments and send messages on your behalf.

  1. Ensure your Instagram account is a Professional or Creator account.
  2. Ensure your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page.
  3. Go to your LinkInfuse Settings > Connections.
  4. Click Connect Instagram and follow the Facebook authentication steps.
  5. Grant all requested permissions so the automation engine can function properly.

Create Your First Automation

Once connected, you can create your first trigger. This will automatically send a DM when someone comments a specific keyword on your posts.

  • Navigate to the Automations tab and click Create New.
  • Select the post (or choose "All Posts") you want to monitor.
  • Enter your target keywords (e.g., "LINK", "GUIDE"). You can add multiple variations.
  • Type the DM you want to send. Be sure to include your link!
  • Toggle the automation to Active and save.

Test Your Automation

We always recommend testing your automation before promoting it to your audience.

Ask a friend or use an alternate Instagram account to comment your keyword on the target post. Within seconds, that account should receive your configured DM. You can then check the Analytics tab to see the successful trigger logged.
